Can the Mako kayak be carried on a car ? How heavy is it? How to lift it on car?
The listed weight without the pedal drive for the Mako 10.5 is 78 lbs and 84.4 lbs for the Mako 12 which should be just fine for the roof of most vehicles. The Mako 14 however weighs in at 121 lbs and may need a small boat trailer ideally to transport it along with a large kayak cart to move it from car to the water.
